We have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our exciting and fast-moving multidisciplinary team working on infrastructure projects across water, aviation, buildings and energy markets.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior members of the team across Ireland and shall be based in either the Dublin, Cork, Galway, or Dundalk offices, with the option to work remotely within Ireland in a hybrid work environment.
Role Description and Duties:
- Support mobilisation of key contracts, commercially with robust processes.
- Negotiate with customers and supply chain.
- Deliver robust commercial solutions to all our bids.
- Support PMs on complex projects to manage change.
- Adhere to company policies and processes.
- Develop Early Warnings, Change Notices and Claims.
- Resolve disputes and contractual interpretation issues.
- Assist with management of Construction contracts.
- Deliver the pre and post Contract opportunity and risk process including mitigation of risk.
- Commercially support the internal project governance stagegates.
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant experience of project / contract management
- A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field
- Chartered status CEng, MRICS or equivalent
- Proven experience of working in a consultancy environment
- Project/Contract Management – Experience and understanding of the needs and approaches to the engineering consultancy and design markets, including relationships with clients, work planning and commercial management
- Experience with tender stage contract and scope of services risk reviews
- Experience with contract stage, raising early warnings and change notices
- Experience in negotiating commercial settlements
- Knowledge of Public Works Contracts (GCCC)
- Knowledge of other industry Contracts and agreements e.g. NEC / COE1 desirable
- Experience of dealing with bespoke client contracts desirable
- Experience of conciliations desirable
- Working competency in relevant project management and data management software applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients
- Good commercial track record in negotiating and managing successful contracts
- Fluent in spoken and written English
