Overview

AtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take the lead in the management and delivery of small to large scale energy infrastructure schemes throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience, preferably from a design consultancy background, with demonstrated expertise in all phases of planning, design, and construction. The candidate will join our busy Transportation & Energy team to be based in our Dublin office. The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and collaborative with experience in delivering multi-disciplinary designs as it will be a role working closely with industry leading clients and stakeholders. The role will include winning work, overseeing the delivery of work, client management, financial management, technical knowledge of site/route optioneering and appraisal, co-ordination of the preparation of statutory approval process documentation, contract documentation and management of construction activities.

Your role

  • Ensuring the provision of efficient and high quality engineering services, to a high level of quality assurance in accordance with relevant design standards and codes.
  • Technical experience in the development of linear infrastructure through all stages of a project lifecycle i.e. Optioneering and Appraisal, Preliminary Design, Planning, Detailed Design, Procurement and Construction Stage Administration through Public Works Contracts and/or NEC.
  • Chartered or close to achieving Chartership.
  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and work to a budget and programme, to control costs and manage change control processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, client delivery partners and team members to ensure successful results and effective delivery.
  • A willingness to develop and build client relationships.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
  • Proven experience preferably in Ireland/UK of effectively managing Clients and other external stakeholders, both technically and commercially.
  • Full Irish/EU driving licence.
