We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Roads team based in Cork.
Responsibilities:
- Project Manager for multi-discipline roads, active travel and site development schemes.
- Contract and commercial management.
- Design management and coordination.
- Line management and mentoring of junior staff.
- Win work activities, including bid preparation.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified (Level 8/9) in civil engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Ideally a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or other equivalent professional body.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams delivering roads and transportation projects in Ireland and / or UK.
- Experience across multiple stages of the project life cycle including, feasibility, planning, design, tender and construction.
- Ability to achieve successful commercial management of projects, including costs and time.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards and specifications, e.g. TII, NTA etc.
- Knowledge of relevant forms of contract including Irish Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services, Public Works Contract, NEC etc.
- Potential to advance to more senior roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Capability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Awareness of new technologies and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Full Irish or EU driving licence.
