AtkinsRéalis successfully deliver Primary Border Inspection Post in Dublin Port.
AtkinsRéalis are providing full multidiscipline engineering consultancy services for Dublin Port Company (DPC) to help them realise delivery of their ambitious and exciting Port development plan through to 2040. Completion of a new primary border inspection post sees the successful delivery of our first project for DPC Masterplan.
Project entailed the transformation of a disused site, previously a Calor Gas bottling facility, into a multi agency border control facility for use by Customs, Dept. of Agriculture and Dept. of Immigration.
Colette O’Shea, Project Manager, AtkinsRéalis commented ‘I’m delighted to be able to commend the efforts of the Project Delivery Team, consisting of DPC PMO team, AtkinsRéalis design team, the contracting partners and the resident engineering staff. Successful delivery of this project in the required timeframe demanded a very collaborative approach from all parties. The entire project team approached the project with the same “can do” attitude which allowed us to successfully deliver a high calibre project befitting of Dublin Port.
Justin Norman, MD AtkinsRéalis added ‘We look forward to continuing to work with DPC to help successfully deliver various projects under the DPC’s Masterplan 2012–2040
