Topping out ceremony for new Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí building

Norma Foley, Minister for Education cut the ribbon at the topping out ceremony for the new Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí building to mark the project moving to the final phase of construction.

The new building for 600 students will feature 22 general classrooms, specialist classrooms, a library, multimedia labs, canteen and dining areas, a sports hall and the cultúrlann performance area.

AtkinsRéalis, a member of AtkinsRéalis provided Civil and Structural design and PSDP services for project.

Kevin Holland, Director of Infrastructure (Interim) at AtkinsRéalis said “AtkinsRéalis is delighted to be the Civil and Structural Engineering Consultant for this project. It’s great to see this new state of the art campus move to the final phase of construction after which it will provide a 21st century learning environment for students from Tralee and surrounding areas.”
