On Thursday 18th of April, the official sod turning for the Bray Transport Interchange was completed by Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan.
The Bray Dart Interchange Project aims to provide a high-quality public realm interchange between the key transport modes of walking, cycling, taxi, bus and rail at Bray Train Station.
AtkinsRéalis are the Designer and Employers Representative for this prestigious scheme which will ultimately benefit the transport interchange by promoting active street edges and thereby encouraging commercial activity, which will breathe new life into the surrounding area.
This scheme is a testament to AtkinsRéalis delivery of a number of other urban realm schemes of a similar nature which seeks to encourage active travel, road safety in urban centres and enhancement to landscaping and tree planting within the existing street scape.
The scheme is expected to be completed in early 2025.
